Passport Seva Kendras under Passport Office Kolkata to Remain Open on September 24 in view of Increasing Demand for PCC

The Regional Passport Office under Ministry of External Affairs has informed today through a press release that in view of the increasing demand of PCC, the Office has decided to keep all the Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs)under Passport Office Kolkata, i.e., Kolkata, Siliguri, Gangtok, Berhampore and Agartala open on September 24, 2022 (Saturday). Only the forms of PCC applicants may be submitted on this day. The applicants who have already taken an appointment may also reschedule their appointments for the above mentioned date, with the new applicants for the said PCC. The appointments will be open only for PCC on that date. To take an appointment, one has to take an online appointment from the website http://www.passportindia.gov.in and reach the concerned PSK according to their time and submit the PCC form.

For PSK Kolkata (address: Aakash Tower, Eastern Bye-pass, Ruby, Kasba, 781, Anandapur, Kolkata-700107) 2000 appointments will be entertained. For PSK Agartala (address: 1st Floor, Jackson Gate Building, Lenin Sarani, Agartala-799001, Tripura), the number to be entertained is 227. For Siliguri (address: 1st Floor, Shopping Centre Office Building, Himachal Vihar, Siliguri, West Bengal), the number is 250. For PSK Gangtok (address: Manan Bhawan, 1st Floor, Development Area, New Secretariat, Gangtok, Sikkim-737101), this number is 130. Last but not the least, for Berhampore (address: Amita Automobile Building, Radhika Nagar, Post Office: Cossim Bazar, Jalangi Road, Berhampore, Murshidabad, West Bengal), the number is 603.

Only those applicants who obtained appointments for September 24, 2022 through online mode, will be entertained, stated the authority. Tatkal, on-hold files and walk-in applications will not be accepted and processed informed the authority.
