- In the construction sector, monthly wages range from ₹13,572 ($163) for Category C city unskilled worker to ₹26,728 ($204) for Category A city highly skilled worker
- Watch & ward workers, minimum wages range from ₹22,412($270) for Category C city to ₹26,728($322) for Category A city
- For workers in loading, unloading, sweeping & cleaning, monthly minimum wages vary from ₹13,572($163) for Category C city to ₹20,228($322) for Category A
- The Variable Dearness Allowance on minimum wages is revised twice annually on 1st April and 1st October based on the Consumer Price Index for Industrial workers to protect the minimum wages against inflation.
