Gurugram police have arrested Dhruv Dutt Sharma, the founder, CEO, and MD of the real estate project 32 Avenue. Sharma is accused of selling the same property unit to multiple buyers and making false promises of “guaranteed” rental income.

According to officials, the scam could be worth more than ₹500 crore. Dhruv Sharma was produced in court on February 7, and the court remanded him to six days of police custody.

Dhruv offered investors several lucrative deals, including guaranteed lease rentals for 30 years, a buyback option, and regular monthly income. Initially, he paid the rent, but rental payments stopped in August 2025.

More than five FIRs have been registered in this case so far. Statements from 40-50 complainants have been recorded. Police suspect that each investor was defrauded of approximately ₹1 crore to ₹2.5 crore.

Dhruv Sharma was also featured in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in 2018.
