The Haryana government, in collaboration with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), reviewed measures to tackle financial frauds, according to officials familiar with the process.
The review was led by Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, who chaired a meeting with stakeholders to assess the evolving nature of financial frauds, investor protection measures, emerging cyber threats and technology-based initiatives aimed at strengthening financial security in the state.
Participants examined updates on investor protection measures and the emerging cyber threats, with emphasis on technology-driven safeguards to bolster financial security across Haryana.
The discussions are intended to reduce fraud risk, protect investors and enhance regulatory oversight, which matters for taxpayers, businesses and financial institutions operating in the state.
