The government will soon appoint three independent directors on the board of the newly constituted Rs 20,000 crore National Infrastructure Finance and Development Bank (NABFID).

Sources said the formation of the board would be completed with the appointment of three independent directors.

In October last year, the government had appointed veteran banker KV Kamat as the chairperson of NABFID for a period of three years. The government had also appointed two nominee directors to the board.
