Vide Notification Dated 24th December 2021, the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance has declared following two financial products as securities under the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act 1956:
(i) bullion spot delivery contract; and
(ii) bullion depository receipt with underlying bullion.
The two financial products were notified by the notification number S.O. 2957 (E), dated the 31st August, 2020.
