There is good news for central government employees. Those who got jobs on notified posts before 22 December 2003 will get a chance to choose the old pension scheme.
The concerned government employees can exercise this option till August 31, 2023. The National Movement for Old Pension Scheme (NMOPS), an organization of more than 14 lakh central and state government employees, welcomed this decision of the government.
