Budget 2021 will be very special this time, the printing of budget documents will not be the first time after 1947!

According to the CNBC-TV18 report, the central government has allowed both houses of parliament not to print budget documents this year. This time a soft copy of the general budget 2021-22 will be made available to the MPs.

The Finance Ministry had proposed to the government that this time it would not be appropriate to keep 100 people in the printing press together for two weeks, given the risk of Corona virus infection. It is worth mentioning that from the first General Budget of the country presented on November 26, 1947, the printing of budget documents every year from 2020 has been done secretly in the printing press of the Ministry of Finance.
