EPFO has made it mandatory to link UAN and Aadhaar. Its deadline expires on November 30. Before this, those who will not be able to get UAN-Aadhaar link, their PF account will be closed.

EPFO has already extended the deadline for UAN-Aadhaar linking. Earlier its deadline was ending on 31 August 2021, which was later extended to 30 November 2021. Now there is no scope to increase it further. Those who have not yet linked UAN with Aadhaar, they have only two days left to complete this important task.

EPFO has already clearly stated that the subscribers who will not be able to link UAN-Aadhaar within the time limit, will stop depositing PF in their account.

Another big loss to the people who do not link UAN-Aadhaar by the stipulated time may be insurance. EPFO has also made it mandatory to link UAN with Aadhaar for Employees Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI).
