Munger, 98, has been the vice chairman of Buffett’s company Berkshire Hathaway Inc. since 1978. According to Reuters, Munger said at an event that cryptocurrencies should have been banned from the beginning. He said, ‘I take pride in the fact that I stayed away from it. It is like a serious venereal disease. It has no value in my view.

He said that some consider it a modernity and welcome this type of currency which is useful in ransom, extortion and tax evasion. Earlier, Berkshire Chairman and CEO Warren Buffet also called cryptocurrencies rat poison and said that it has no value.

Buffett and Munger met in 1959. In 1961, he was running seven partnership companies. He made his first million dollar investment in Dempster.
