Central government more than one crore employees-pensioners Dearness Allowance (DA) may be increased from 38% to 42%. Shiv Gopal Mishra, General Secretary of All India Railwaymen’s Federation said, the CPI-IW data for December 2022 has been released on January 31, 2023. Based on this, the increase in dearness allowance works out to 4.23%. In such a situation, DA can be increased by 4% from the existing 38% to 42%.
