The council has also requested for its one time settlement. However, nothing has been done about it so far. Central employees can get big amount: Let us tell you, if the government accepts the demand of central employees (DA Arrear) and decides to give them 18 months arrears, then central employees will get huge amount from the government. With this decision, Level-One employees will get Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. Similarly, Level-13 employees can get a lump sum of Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200.
You can get the benefit of HRA: Apart from the arrears, there are also speculations about getting housing allowance to the central employees. It is expected that the central government can increase the housing allowance by 3 percent. If this happens, the HRA rates will be 10 per cent, 20 per cent and 30 per cent. Increase in HRA will increase the salary of the employees. It is expected that if the housing allowance is increased, then about 31 lakh employees will benefit from it.
