Adani Group will be investing over ₹2 lakh crore in Gujarat, thereby creating one lakh direct and indirect jobs in the state, founder Gautam Adani said on Wednesday. Adani was speaking at the sidelines of Vibrant Gujarat Summit which kick-started on January 10.

As part of investment, Adani says that the company will be constructing a green energy park situated in the Kutch district of Khavda spanning over 725 square kms. Claiming it to be the world’s largest green energy park, Adani says that the project aims to generate 30 GW (giga-watt) of renewable energy.
According to Adani, the group also plans to expand the green supply chain for an Aatmanirbhar Bharat, aiming to create the largest integrated renewable energy ecosystems. This initiative encompasses a diverse range of components, including solar panels, wind turbines, hydrogen electrolysers, green ammonia and PVC. Moreover, the group has plans to expand into copper and cement projects too.
By incorporating these elements into a comprehensive green supply chain, the Adani Group aspires to contribute significantly to an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
“Out of the substantial commitment of ₹55,000 crore made at the last summit, the Adani Group has already deployed ₹50,000 crore,” he adds.
