Free food distribution will continue till 2024
Presenting the budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that this is the first budget of Amrit Kaal. The Economic Survey estimates that this year’s growth rate will be 7 percent. Per capita income has doubled in nine years and the budget is being presented with the aim of welfare of all sections. He said that our growth rate is more than the developed countries around the world and we will continue the free food distribution scheme till 2024.
