The design of the Maruti Suzuki EV is almost being finalised. Based on the regular ICE Wagon R, the electric hatchback shares the same side profile but the front look has been changed.
After a gap of almost a year, the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Electric has once again been spied under testing. The company has been testing this car for a long time to ensure that this car can be as reliable as the ICE engine model.

Images from the test mule reveal that the design of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki EV is almost being finalised. Based on the regular ICE Wagon R, the electric hatchback shares the same side profile but the front look has been changed.
These changes will also be seen
There are new headlights while the radiator grille has been replaced with a slim blanking trim piece that connects the light units with integrated indicators. The car gets a new front bumper that is surrounded by fog lights, and the rear bumper has also been completely redesigned. However, the same cannot be said about the tail gate. Stepping inside, however, no images of the interior of the Maruti Wagon R EV have been revealed.

The powertrain details of the Wagon R EV are negligible. But, it is expected to come with a city driving range of anywhere between 150 km to 200 km and will need fast charging support. Maruti’s Nexa series is likely to be retailed through showrooms. The company can do aggressive pricing of this car so that it can compete with other players in the market.
