Change in Taxonomies/categories on the UDIN Portal
The Council, at its 446th Meeting held on 8th October 2025, approved the revision in the classification of categories/sub-categories on the UDIN Portal, as recommended by the concerned ICAI Committees/Board.
Accordingly, the following changes have been made in the categories available on the UDIN Portal:
- “Certificates” has been renamed as “Certificates and Other Reports”.
- “GST & Tax Audit” has been renamed as “Tax Audit”.
- The “Audit & Assurance Functions” category shall continue without any change.
Members are requested to take note of the above changes and use the revised categories while generating UDINs.
