Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 49-runs, at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. MI, powered by a Rohit Sharma 80 and a quickfire knock of 47 by Suryakumar Yadav, set a 196-run target after KKR won the toss and elected to field. Japrit Bumrah, James Pattinson, Rahul Chahar and Trent Boult did the job with the ball for MI, grabbing two wickets each, as KKR batsmen struggled to convert their starts.
