Digi Yatra – Digital processing of passengers at the airports
DigiYatra is a contactless passenger processing system that uses facial recognition technology to identify passengers and allow them to enter the airport, clear security, and board their flights. It is currently available at the following airports:
- Delhi (Terminal 3 and Terminal 2)
- Bengaluru
- Varanasi
- Kolkata
- Pune
- Vijayawada
- Hyderabad
To use DigiYatra, you must first download the DigiYatra app and create an account. Once you have created an account, you will need to link your Aadhaar card or DigiLocker account to your profile. You can then link your flight tickets to your DigiYatra account.
When you arrive at the airport, you will need to go to the DigiYatra express gate. At the gate, you will need to scan your boarding pass and have your face scanned by the facial recognition system. If your identity is verified, the gate will open and you will be allowed to enter the airport.
