C.P. Radhakrishnan has been elected as the 15th Vice President of India. The NDA candidate and current Governor of Maharashtra, C.P. Radhakrishnan, defeated the I.N.D.I.A. bloc’s candidate, former Supreme Court Judge B. Sudershan Reddy.

- Total Votes: Out of 781 electors, 767 MPs voted.
- Valid Votes: 752
- Invalid Votes: 15
- C.P. Radhakrishnan (NDA): 452 votes
- B. Sudershan Reddy (I.N.D.I.A. bloc): 300 votes
- Winning Margin: 152 votes
The election was held to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on July 21, 2025.
C.P. Radhakrishnan, a veteran politician from Tamil Nadu, has previously served as a two-time Lok Sabha MP from Coimbatore and as the Governor of Jharkhand, Telangana, Puducherry, and Maharashtra.
