Subject: Clarification Regarding the Recent ITR Extension Circular
It has come to our attention that the most recent extension circular issued may be misleading. The last official circular released by the Ministry of Finance (@FinMinIndia) was dated November 2025, whereas the present circular bears the number 25/2025.
We respectfully request the Income Tax Department to conduct a thorough fact-check regarding this matter and consider an extension of the due dates for Income Tax Returns (ITR) and Tax Audit Reports (TAR) in accordance with the accurate circular.
