Mevalal is spending the last moments of his life in a lot of struggle. If we talk about his income, then Mevalal does not have even a single penny. For the last three years, he works at a tea shop in the village, where he gets food or you can say that this is how he is arranging for his stay and food.
The notice of the Income Tax Department has become a problem
Mewalal told Local 18 that he has only one house in the name of property. However, some people have evicted him from this house and occupied it. He told that when he was unwell, his Aadhar card and PAN card were taken away. He also suspected that someone else is behind this notice from the Income Tax Department. At present, he neither has a place to live nor a single penny in his pocket to lead a normal life. He told with great regret that on one hand he himself is struggling in the last phase of his life and on top of that this notice from the Income Tax Department has come as a problem.
Mewalal told that he has been working at this tea stall for the last 3 years. The reason behind working here is that he gets two meals a day. There is no special place to stay, so he sleeps at this shop. He told that he stays at this shop 24 hours a day, so that his food and accommodation is arranged. However, he is 65 years old and due to this he has to face many diseases from time to time. In such a situation, there is no good option for treatment. But, somehow he takes his medicines. However, ever since he has received a notice from the Income Tax Department, he has become a topic of discussion in the entire area.
