Hero MotoCorp Passes Full GST Benefit to Customers

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, announced today that it would pass on the full benefit of the next-gen GST 2.0 reforms directly to customers, effective September 22, 2025. This initiative aims to enhance accessibility, affordability, and mobility, especially in rural and semi-urban areas.

CEO’s Statement

Mr. Vikram Kasbekar, Chief Executive Officer of Hero MotoCorp, emphasized that the next-gen GST 2.0 reforms will significantly boost consumption, empower GDP growth, and accelerate India’s transition towards becoming a $5 trillion economy. He noted that over half of Indian households rely on two-wheelers for their daily needs, highlighting the importance of this move for mass mobility. By passing the full GST benefit onto customers, Hero MotoCorp reaffirms its commitment to enabling mobility, empowering families, and supporting the vision of ‘Make in India’.

Price Benefits

With this initiative, customers can now take advantage of price benefits of up to ₹15,743 on select models (ex-showroom Delhi). This makes popular motorcycles such as the Splendor+, Glamour, and the Xtreme range, as well as scooters like the Xoom, Destini, and Pleasure+ even more accessible.
