Blinkit launches GST invoicing facility

BLINKIT LAUNCHES GST INVOICING FEATURE

Blinkit, the quick commerce platform, has introduced a new GST invoicing feature for businesses. This feature allows businesses to get GST invoices for their purchases on Blinkit, enabling them to claim up to 28% input credit.

Blinkit has rolled out a feature that allows businesses to add their GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number) while purchasing products on the platform and companies can now claim up to 28 per cent in GST input credit on their purchases.

How it works

  • During checkout, users will see an option to “Add GSTIN.”
  • Once the GSTIN is added, a GST-compliant invoice is generated for that transaction.
  • The invoice reflects the GST input credit the buyer can claim, which could go up to 28 per cent depending on the product category.

Here’s what this means for businesses:

  • Simplified GST Compliance: Businesses can now easily manage their GST compliance by directly obtaining GST invoices from Blinkit.
  • Increased Input Credit: By claiming input credit, businesses can reduce their overall tax liability.
  • Enhanced Efficiency: The feature streamlines the process of obtaining GST invoices, saving businesses time and effort.

Blinkit’s GST invoicing feature is a valuable addition for businesses looking to optimize their tax management and reduce costs.
