Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has again alerted its members. It has said that members should not share EPFO ​​details or OTP on social media. EPFO members be careful otherwise money can be withdrawn from their account. At the same time, for any kind of enquiry, its members can login to the official website epfindia.gov.in.

EPFO recently tweeted about this from its official Twitter handle, “#EPFO never asks its members to share personal details like Aadhaar, PAN, UAN, Bank Account or OTP over phone or social media.”

EPFO never asks for personal details like Aadhaar, PAN, UAN, bank account, OTP on phone, social media, WhatsApp etc. At the same time, it never asks for depositing money or any services through WhatsApp or social media. Apart from this, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization has advised that members should not respond to any such calls or messages asked in person. This can make them a victim of fraud.
