Market Timings: Changes have been made in the trading hours in the regulated markets of the Reserve Bank of India. The new time table of the market will be applicable from Monday, April 18. According to the new time table, now the business will start from 9 am instead of 10 am and will continue till 3.30 pm. RBI has increased the market time by 30 minutes.

The apex bank has said that due to the end of the Kovid restrictions and the removal of restrictions on the movement of people and normalization of work in the offices, it has been decided to start trading in the financial markets from 9 am. RBI has said that now their pre-pandemic time for regulated financial markets to be restored at 9:00 am.

The central bank has said in a release that transactions in the foreign exchange market and government securities will now be able to take place with the changed time.
