Punjab National Bank hikes savings account and fixed deposit interest rates on certain tenures for amounts below Rs 2 crore. The new rates are applicable from January 1, 2023, according to the PNB website. The bank had previously hiked FD interest rates on December 20, 2022.

PNB savings account interest rates
PNB will continue to give an interest rate of 2.70% p.a. on savings account balances less than Rs.10 Lakh, and an interest rate of 2.75% p.a. on savings account balances between Rs.10 Lakh and Rs.100 Crore. PNB has increased the interest rate on savings accounts with balances of Rs.100 Crore and above by 25 basis points, from 2.75% to 3.00% per annum.

The interest rate on deposits maturing in one year to 665 days has been raised by 45 basis points, from 6.30% to 6.75%. The interest rate on FDs due in 667 days to 2 years is 6.75%, 45 bps higher than the previous rate of 6.30%. Interest rates on fixed deposits (FDs) maturing in more than two years and up to three years were raised by 50 basis points, from 6.25% to 6.75%. Other tenure rates have not changed.

The interest rate on deposits maturing in one year to 665 days has been raised by 45 basis points, from 6.80% to 7.25%. The interest rate on FDs due in 667 days to 2 years is 7.25%, 45 bps higher than the previous rate of 6.80%. Interest rates on fixed deposits (FDs) maturing in more than two years and up to three years were raised by 50 basis points, from 6.75% to 7.25%. Other tenure rates have not changed.

The highest rate offered by the bank is 7.75% on tenure of 666 days.

The interest rate on deposits maturing in one year to 665 days has been raised by 45 basis points, from 7.10% to 7.55%. The interest rate on FDs due in 667 days to 2 years is 7.55%, 45 bps higher than the previous rate of 7.10%. Interest rates on fixed deposits (FDs) maturing in more than two years and up to three years were raised by 50 basis points, from 7.05% to 7.55%. Other tenure rates have not changed.

The highest rate offered by the bank is 8.05% on tenure of 666 days.
