8th Pay Commission to Visit Bengaluru: Appointment Deadline and Details

The Eighth Central Pay Commission will visit Bengaluru on October 7 and 8, 2026, for interactions with stakeholders.

According to a notice issued by the Commission, organisations, institutions, associations and unions of the Central Government interested in meeting the panel can submit appointment requests through the designated online process.

The deadline to submit requests is September 18, 2026.

Stakeholders seeking an appointment must provide the Unique Memo ID generated after submitting their memorandum to the Commission.

The panel will subsequently communicate the venue and detailed schedule of the interactions.

Who can seek an appointment?

The appointment facility is open to interested Central Government organisations, institutions, associations and unions that wish to present their views to the Commission during its Bengaluru visit.

Those seeking a meeting must submit their appointment request by September 18 along with the Unique Memo ID linked to their memorandum.

In a separate development, the application window for consultant positions with the 8th Central Pay Commission (8th CPC) will end on Monday, August 31. The Commission is hiring for Senior Consultant, Consultant and Young Professional roles on a contractual basis.

The positions will support work related to pay, allowances, pensions, compensation, data analysis and legal research as the Commission works on its recommendations for Central government employees and pensioners.
